Brilliant etched gilding is a combination of some of the most popular services that we provide.
Bringing this combination together makes for a beautiful pane of glass that adds elegance and style to any property. As we use the traditional techniques to do all of our glass creations our work is unique in the UK. We can provide you with any style you may like from the traditional to the most modern.
Brilliant cutting glass is the method of cutting a V groove into the glass and then grinding and polishing it back to clear again. Etching is done with acid to block certain parts of the glass out. Gilding is adding either silver or gold to the piece to complete the design.
This combination of techniques looks beautiful done properly. The techniques all bring their own style to a piece and allows us to create a wonderful piece of art.
The brilliant cutting allows us to separate areas while the etching and the gilding allow us to highlight and shade other areas of the design.
This method can be used to create any design you like. Over the years we have created names, patterns and a combination of the two for many clients in the UK and abroad.
